Ben Collins
Architect
Ben studied architecture at The University of Greenwich and The Bartlett (UCL).
He has worked for a diverse range of practices, most notably John Pawson where he worked on residential, cultural and mixed-use projects. He was responsible for the Lake Crossing at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew which won the RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize in 2008. Residential projects became of particular interest with a house for the Benetton family in Treviso, Italy, and a series of apartments for art collector clients in London, New York and Belgium.
More recently, Ben’s experience has diversified, from delivering Damien Hirst’s studio in Soho, to gaining Listed Building Consent to alter and extend a Grade 2* listed house by Regency architect John Nash
