New build development creates commercial space at basement and ground floor level with five luxury residential apartments above.

Previously occupied by a Public House, the site enjoys a prominent corner position at the entrance to the famous King’s Road and lies within the Moore Park Conservation – London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The new build development creates commercial space at basement and ground floor level with five luxury residential apartments above. The apartments range in size from 700 to over 1,300 sq ft featuring two 1-bed apartments, two 2-bed apartments and a 2-bed penthouse.

The project is conceived as a carefully detailed, contemporary and contextual response to the surrounding conservation area. The four-storey massing has been articulated with a traditional tripartite elevational approach to nod to the sensitive setting, whilst utilising a contemporary palette of materials – comprising a solid, load-bearing acid etched stone base; a light grey stock brick body forming the first and second floor levels; and a quartz grey standing seem zinc top floor forming the penthouse. The result is a quiet yet contemporary architectural intervention, which seeks to respect and enhance its privileged setting at the entrance to the famous King’s Road.
