152 Upland Road
December 2007, London
The brief was to take this restricted 2 storey Victorian terrace in South East London and convert it into a spacious family home. The renovation required a complete gutting out of the building to emphasize it’s linear aspect. Along with a new dorma the key was to introduce deep light into the new 77sq.m living area, which is linked to a 36sq.m studio by way of a wall of full height, glazed, sliding doors.
