Holmes Road Student Halls

The main driver behind the scheme was the use of the client’s pod system design for the new 410 student halls scheme in Kentish Town. The site wraps along Holmes Road and into Cathcart Street forming an L shape site, the corner is then expressed by an area for public art to be displayed.
The façade is designed to break the building up with the lower level acting as a glass base, the middle section as a clean rendered element with the top level clad in mesh screens to bring life and shadow to the building as you move along the street.
