The Old Street area is a thriving area for arts and culture in the London area. It houses some of London’s most progressive galleries and cultural institutions. It is also home to some of the most exciting designer hotels and bars in London, with a strong reputation for being the home to a large portion of the London design fraternity.
The new building is designed not only to display art, provide accommodation and be a gathering point for people, but also to become a piece of art in its own right. The building has been conceived as a large sculpture, which will evolve and change with varying use and changing programmes.
