This project involves the re-development and refurbishment of the existing residential property at Charles Allen House, 28 Amwell Street, Clerkenwell, London.
The exterior of the building will be re-clad and the internal arrangement of the existing apartments will be improved. The creation of a new glass entrance canopy on the front elevation of the building will modernise its street presence and a new infill section on the rear elevation will provide additional habitable space for the existing 14 apartments.
The well designed proposal would fully respect its location, and we firmly believe it would architecturally enrich not only the existing building but also the surrounding area.
