Nick Rees

Senior Projects Architect

Nick studied Architecture at the University of Edinburgh and London Metropolitan University, interspersing his studies with Part I roles at ORMS Architects in London and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios in Bath.

After moving to London in 2005, Nick was employed as a Part II Architectural Assistant at Hawkins\Brown. During his six years here, Nick progressed to the level of Project Architect, as which he led a range of residential, masterplanning, commercial and conservation projects. These included the refurbishment of the grade II listed Metropolitan Wharf in Wapping and the planning application for The Wharves, Deptford, a residential-led mixed use scheme in South-East London comprising 900 dwellings along with a range of commercial, community and leisure uses.

Nick joined Claridge Architects in 2011 and is currently responsible for coordinating the design inception and delivery of a number of the practice’s medium sized projects. Current projects include a 60 dwelling residential development in Chelmsford, a 450 bedroom student housing scheme in Southampton and a number of medium sized residential developments across London.
